The Food & Beverage market is... frankly, it's a mess. Super high entropy. It's extremely fragmented and changing constantly. You have new products appearing and companies trading hands every single day. The old way of tracking this with static databases is just broken.
So, using Claude Code and an armada of AI Agents, I specified and had built a real-time Knowledge Graph during winter vacation 2025-26. What came out was impressive and I learned what Agentic really means. AI helped me build basically a live source of truth for the Global F&B industry. We have a REST API and an MCP server that let AI agents plug directly into the infrastructure. It gives them high-fidelity, fact-checked data — global coverage, updated live. It's the difference between guessing and actually knowing.
The way this was built is arguably the most interesting part. There is no "dev team" in the traditional sense. It's zero bloat. Just one human application architect coordinating a fleet of AI agents. The data ingestion pipeline is fully automated and supervised by agents. Application security and application design is human guided and code reviewed. All based on industry best practices.
This is a proof of concept for the future of software engineering. AI assisted or even AI conducted coding is inevitable. And even more, in the age of AI, having clean, pipelined, granular data is the only competitive advantage that actually matters.
